There will also be grind rails this season, and the addition of a new quest type appears to imply even those of you without a battle pass will have challenges to complete that unlock cosmetic items.
Players who purchase this season’s Battle Pass will automatically unlock the fine-tailored Renzo the Destroyer as well as “streetwear savant” Thunder, the elegantly casual Highwire, and more original Fortnite Outfits as players progress through the Season.
This season’s guest character is Eren Jaeger from popular anime Attack on Titan. Like Geralt of Rivia last season, the new character will be able to be unlocked later in the season, although it’s not currently clear when.
New vehicles are also being added to the game this season, including the Rogue Bike, which can hold two players, and the four-seater Nitro Drifter.
Mega City, which is the game’s most significant new area, includes new rails to grind on, and a neo-Tokyo aesthetic.
